Good morning. OK who can tell me what happened to the weekend? I am sure weekends finish far quicker than they used to.

So Monday morning again, sending you warm greetings from London W10, I hope you are well. Wow what a sparkling day it was on Saturday, not only was the weather awesome, the England Rugby Team were more than awesome in Japan, soundly beating Australia to go into the last four all very exciting.

Last week I was in Bilbao, Spain I have wanted to see what Bilbao is all about for some time. Spain is one of the most frequently requested destinations that the team and I at MM and Company represent. Most of the time clients ask for Barcelona, followed by Madrid then then the Spanish Islands. I went to Bilbao and found a great alternative Spanish city. Direct flights from Gatwick with British Airways, Iberia (Vueling Airlines) as well as budget airlines. Only 90 minutes away, the weather was awesome, mid-October sunny and dry 25 degrees C. on day one, day two was 28 degrees C. Day three the day I left it was 25 degrees dry and sunny. Most people know Bilbao for The Guggenheim Museum it is a building like no other I have seen and just for that was worth the trip. If you follow MM and Company on Facebook or Instagram you would have seen the photos I posted, if you want to see more Bilbao images I will put a photo album on Facebook. Oh the tapas and red wine OMG terrific, I had tapas and Rioja in a Café that was opened in 1905 (that is not five past seven 😊) there are some excellent hotels in Bilbao, I stayed at the NXY Hotel by Leonardo Hotels it is brand news and very good indeed.

Malta I’m hosting a trip to Malta with Mi Malta DMC in November which I’m really looking forward to, Malta is one of those destinations that is far enough south to get good weather even in November. Last time I was there in was in November two years ago it was shorts and T-shirts weather.

Germany Put a date in your diary for 25th November, Germanyinsight is coming over to meet with clients, if you want to catch up with Eva, Valentina and Malin let us know and we will sort it out.
