Good Monday morning, I hope you are well and enjoyed the sunshine over the weekend, it’s still cold and from what the BBC is saying it’s going to get colder this week.
What is it that they say? when the going gets tough the tough get going, I think it is fair to say that the going has never been tougher and that is purely from a personal point of view. I am back at my desk and its tough.
We work in an amazing industry with some awesome people that work in the conference, incentive, and event business. Over the past twenty-six years that I have worked for MM and Company I have met and worked with some extremely lovely people, so much so that I do not consider these people clients but friends and so I invented a word to describe such people as “FRIENTS” friends and clients.
When I broke the sad, personal news last Monday that my Mum had passed my e mail inbox literally filled up with many wonderful e mails of kindness and comfort from you, I felt truly blessed that I had chosen to work within our industry.
I want to say a huge, enormous thank you to each and every one that sent an e mail, a text, a what’s app message, or card, I cannot even begin to tell you how much all the messages meant to me and to my two brothers and sister.
I am now back in the office and working with Sandra and Sophie who have been amazing, working hard, holding the fort and responding to work e mails. I will try very hard to reply to each and every
e mail and message of condolence I received.
I am truly humbled and grateful to you who took the time to write a few lines to me.

Dubai
Jyoti, Christina, Jean and the TRAVCO DMC team have told us that the UAE is hosting the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) We know that COP28, which will be hosted in the UAE in 2023 at Expo City Dubai, will be an important global event coinciding with the UAE National Day, COP 28 will welcome high-level participation, including over 140 heads of state and government leaders, over 80,000 delegates and more than 5,000 media professionals.
