Happy Monday morning on this the first Monday of November I hope all is well.

Guy Fawkes on Wednesday night prepare to burn money folks, 80 bangs in a box for £50 what!!!!! Light the blue touch paper and stand back watch your money literally go up in smoke, flames, sparkles and bangs.

WTF Huntingdon! what is the matter with people? One man in particular a 32-year-old British national who perpetrated a horrific crime, attacking 11 people during a mass stabbing attack on a London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The Police have said “there was nothing to suggest it was a terror attack”, well if you ask any of the people aboard that train in the exact carriage that the attack took place “were they terrified?” I bet all of them would say “yes we were terrified” ergo it WAS a terror attack. The bizarre element to this was that the mindless person was on the train, could not get off it unless he jumped from the moving train, so he was bound to be caught.

Budget mania has gripped the newsrooms, what will Robbing Rachel do? Will she or wont she put up taxes? that is the question, the answer is dear friends is she will of course raise taxes the popular thinking is 2p on income tax but whatever she will do will hurt, she / they plan to put up taxes till the pips squeak. What was it former Prime Minister the late Margaret Thatcher said, “The problem with socialism is that they eventually run out of other people's money.”

OMG Jamaica took the full hit from the force five Hurricane Melissa, Mother nature at her angriest, the poor people of Jamaica who had very little now have nothing but rubble.

This week is World Travel Market week at Excel East London, I will be there all-day Tuesday, one day is more than enough, it is a huge event but primarily focused on the leisure and wholesale tour operator market place, I am looking forward to meeting up with Jyoti and Christina of TRAVCO DMC Dubai Abu Dhabi and Oman our MM and Company represented DMC in the UAE and Oman whom will be at Excel

TWO YEARS AND 26 DAYS since innocent and murdered Israeli citizens’ bodies were taken by the violent, medieval, barbaric terrorist group Hamas who had murdered them in cold blood to be held as bargaining chips against the Israeli Government.  So far some of these deceased people have been repatriated to their families for a decent burial and closure however the bodies of nine Israelis and 2 foreign nationals remain in the Gaza Strip; Hamas claims it cannot get to some, doesn’t know where others are.

As the news paper seller of yester year used to say “now read this, now read this” last week I attended an event or as my tribe call an event a simcha, the entertainment was outstanding, a terrific live band I did think I bet my awesome FRIENTS (a Daivd word for friends and clients) are always looking for great bands for corporate events in the UK and in other overseas destinations. I went to seek out the host who told me the band has an Instagram page Muzika_ltd where I could find video clips and other information. However, I don’t want you guys messing around with Instagram as once you start looking a reels that’s the morning gone so the best way of contacting the band for more information is to use the e mail contact jeremy@muzika.uk.com

PRAGUE

Daniel, David, and the team at ITC DMC Prague have told us that 2026 will be an awesome year for this amazing destination, to compliment the several event venues that opened this year, at least five additional projects are due to be completed in 2026. Together, the new premises will offer a total capacity for at least 6,500 persons with 1,000 newly constructed hotel rooms.

Amongst the new venues that have been added to the Prague meetings scene one of the most important is the reconstruction in the Prague Exhibition Grounds the renovated premises of the Nová Spirála (New Spiral) Theatre renovation work on the Industrial Palace is moving ahead plus the Křižík Pavilions were recently opened together these spaces offer a capacity of up to 4,500 persons

In the immediate vicinity of the Exhibition Grounds the Prague Planetarium will soon be open after renovations featuring a new LED dome technology. The facilities will also be available for private events rentals, offering a total capacity, including an outdoor terrace, for up to 700 persons. MORE PRAGUE DEVELOPMENTS NEWS NEXT WEEK

Greece, Corfu

Nassos and the team at AME DMC Greece Hilton Hotels has announced plans for Conrad Corfu, its first luxury resort in Greece due to open ahead of the 2026 summer season. The Conrad Corfu located near Lefkimi Port has a 200-meter beachfront, the hotel will have 136 guest rooms, suites, and villas most with heated private pools, hot tubs, or direct access to an Aqua Piazza lagoon.
