Happy Monday I hope all is well with you and yours, how was your weekend? Wow it was really cold first proper cold snap, but it was dry and crisp with, as the Weather peeps like to say, gin clear skies.

I was in the West End of London on Saturday night, OMG it was seriously busy plus the tube system went up the creek for a few hours, delays everywhere all over the tube network, good job I could walk home from Oxford Street.

What did you do on Sunday? I attended an Antisemitism march, since October 7th I have been to three demonstrations and now a march from The Courts of Justice in London to Parliament Square there is a first time for everything.

Week seven of the war that Hamas, on behalf of the innocent citizens of Gaza declared against Israel by massacring 1,200 unarmed civilian and taking 240 pensioners, men, women, children and babies hostage. Good news at last, the “truce” started on Friday, with the Red Cross getting their act together helping sort out the release of some 13 Israeli hostages together with 12 Thai nationals and one Filipino national. Proving just how stupid the Hamas terrorists truly are, come on the Thais and Filipinos were guest workers on the Kibbutz they don’t even look Jewish. Hamas aka nutters.

The second tranche of Hostages to be released on Saturday was delayed by 8 hours, 8 hours of agony for the waiting relatives, however they are now in the hands of their Israeli countrymen. YYYYYYAAA

Dublin such a wonderful gentle city, full of amazing people but look what happened a few days ago, rioting and mayhem with tragic wilful destruction all due to incorrect information floating through the social media atmosphere.

Another rescue drama being played out this time in India's Uttarakhand state, there are 41 workers trapped in a tunnel that they were digging when the roof caved in on 12th November and trapped them. The workers have been trapped for over two weeks however progress is being made with their rescue but it is taking a very long time. The good news is that oxygen, dry food, and water has been supplied to them through a pipeline that was laid for supplying water to the tunnel for construction work.

Budapest

Imola, Katinka and the team at COSMOS DMC Budapest have told us that Marriott’s Autograph Collection has debuted in Hungary with the opening of Dorothea Hotel, Budapest, Autograph Collection.

Located in the city’s District V, the new hotel is housed across three historic buildings: former headquarters of United Budapest Metropolitan Savings Bank; Mahart, the art nouveau former headquarters of Hungarian Shipping Company and Munnich, a modernist building with art deco and Bauhaus elements. Named after Archduchess Maria Dorothea of Austria, the hotel features 216 rooms and suites. There’s also a restaurant and bar in the hotel’s inner courtyard, an additional café, bar and a spa.
