Dateline Monday 19th January 2026

Happy Monday morning, I hope you are fit and well on this bright and surprisingly warm January Monday morning. 

Today is the start of the Billionaire, Multi-millionaire and world governments love fest in Davos Switzerland, oh to be a fly on the wall and hear the deals and sub deals going on and how that will effect all of us sometime down the road  

As I write this Monday morning e mail to you all seems to be “becalmed” Venezuela is off the news. Nothing like that can be said about the war Prick Purin is waging against the peaceful county of Ukraine, how do people like him live with himself he has caused death, pain and misery to millions of people in Russia and Ukraine. They say a million people have died in the wat HE started, in that case at least two million probably four million people have been affected by this madman’s actions, the parents and immediate family of the million people that have died, it truly beggars’ belief.

It seems that flip flop Trump had decided not to bomb Tehran to rubble even though tens of thousands of young Iranian citizen have been cut down in their prime by a vicious regime led by, wait for it, led by a RELIGIOUS CLERIC, where in his holy scripture does it say it is OK to mow down and murder his fellow citizens in cold blood, his fellow believers in the same religion that he leads for goodness sake, just because they want to live and love in freedom. I am certain his religion just like our religion says “thou shall not murder” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is a two-faced murdering maniac clinging onto power and wealth, that is what he is doing by fair mean or foul, mostly foul, dreadful, dreadful man. I am disappointed with President Trump he said, “we are behind you; we have got your back go out and protest”. They went out onto the streets, but Trump and his promise was nowhere to be seen, that may be a good thing for the world but not a good thing for the protesters, the least Trump could have done was to parachute in a few container loads of munitions to give the protesters a fighting chance.

Trump and Greenland, what on earth is that man on? some type of look at me narcissistic drug infused love in, of himself, get off the news and get off yourself, Greenland is for the Greenland people, sure have a few more military bases on the Island, pay a market rent for the land and protect your country that way.

I see reform has got another renegade MP from a competing political party, SOAP BOX time if an MP is elected by his or her members of the constituency and the MP wins for example as a member of the Conservative party if he or she wants to change sides because the other side’s grass looks greener then he or she should resign, cause a by election then that now ex  MP can explain to the voters who elected him why he is changing sides if he or she gets elected to Parliament by the voters for his or her new political party then that is fair.

I was very excited to see NASA's moon rocket Artemis 2 being trundled into place on the launch pad of Cape Canaveral Florida, I find space fascinating. The agency begins its final testing before flying four astronauts to the moon as soon as February. The Artemis 2 mission will be the first time humans leave Earth's orbit in more than 50 years. This crew won't land on the moon, but their 10-day journey there and back will test critical life support systems so future crews can return to the lunar surface This 322 feet tall rocket weighing over 15,000 kilos will have huge engines to power the rocket out of the pull of the Earth’s gravity, the noise that space craft will make when it does blast off will literally be earth shattering. I would soo love to be at the launch, that is one of my “bucket list” things to do.

So the lying, scheming cheating Chief Constable of West Midlands Craig Guildford finally does the right thing and retires in DISGRACE over his lying, cheating and blatant dishonesty over a decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from attending a football match against Aston Villa, which led to his retirement he lied, and lied and lied again he should have been fired, his decision to retire is a cop out see what I did there. Look he had the top job that comes with dedication and hard work all spoiled by his deceit.

Last week I told you that we have started representing three awesome well established DMCs

The DMCs are:-

Event Makers DMC Greece covering ALL of Greece including the Islands, Ambiance Incentives DMC Spain covering ALL of Spain including the Islands, AIM DMC Portugal covering all of Portugal including the Islands 

I mentioned last week that we had additional news about South Africa well here it is, we at MM and Company have signed an agreement to represent a very special team in South Africa.  For a number of years, we have successfully worked with Nelson Albarran, Managing Director of Due South DMC South Africa.  Nelson and his team recently operated two successful groups, Nelson clearly likes working with the UK as he has finally asked us to officially represent Due South DMC South Africa, Nelson also delivers amazing events in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mozambique   

Nelson tells us that in 2025, 3.3 million two-way international passengers passed through Cape Town’s international airport terminal. This marks a significant 7% increase compared to 2024 Clearly Nelson and the Due South DMC team plan to be busy in 2026
