Happy Monday morning, happy Christmas and of course happy Chanukkah greetings from the streets of North West London I hope you are well.

This is the last working Monday of 2025 although not the last Monday but tell me how much work will be done week starting on Monday 22^nd December probably not very much, however if you are going into the office or indeed your home office on Monday 22^nd December I guess you will be in the minority, all hail the minority 😊 I too will be in the office, however I am regularly getting e mails saying “our offices will be closed from 22^nd December till Monday 5^th January 2025” I hasten to add MM and Company’s offices will be totally OPEN due to the fact we at MM and Company proudly represent DMCs in destinations that consider Christmas day a full on working day e.g. TRAVCO DMC Dubai, Oman and Abu Dhabi, Visit Morocco DMC, Blue DMC Turkey. Whilst we will still be open and working this is the final Monday morning blog X type e mail until Monday 5^th January, I will miss you and will miss writing to you.

My final Monday e mail of the year has always been an email to say THANK YOU without any of my usual rants and raves however this year I simply cannot avoid making mention of the tragic and senseless act of antisemitic violence perpetrated on many innocent people mainly Jewish people that has gathered to celebrate the Jewish festival of Chanukah the festival of LIGHT sadly, senselessly, tragically, DARKNESS was visited on the celebration of Chanukah by a due of Islamic terrorists intent on spreading hate death and darkness to what end? to what end for G-d sake? their termination. What did this violent act achieve sadness and grief on those killed and injured and, on their families, also on terrorist’s family as well, the Police announced that it was a father and son combo of mindless violence. I hope that the Australian authorities will make an example of the family of the terrorists, what kind of a hate filled family gave succour to these evil men. Sadly this terrorist act comes as no surprise whatsoever, the Jewish people all over the world from Buenos Aries to Mumbai to Manchester have been victims of senseless Islamic generated violence for decades. I am simply beyond angry and very upset,

Video is trending showing an Australian civilian tackling one of the gun men and disarming him, I am in awe of this stranger that stepped up when he saw what was happening I understand he was injured I also understand that he is a follower of the Islamic faith, it has to be said that not all followers of the Islamic faith are terrorists but it does seem that all terrorists are followers of the Islamic faith. I wish him and all those injured a quick and full recovery and of course I send my condolences and wishes for a long life to those people who have lost loved ones.

Finally, finally may I wish you, your colleagues, family and friends and indeed the entire world an AWESOME Christmas whatever shape it may be taking in your household. I hope 2026 will be the year PEACE returns to the world goodness knows there has been enough war in 2025. If Christmas is not your thing, may I wish you a safe, successful, happy and above all HEALTHY (yes in caps 😊 shouting) New Year

I will be back on 5^th January 2026, bigger, brighter, bolder than ever before, my Monday morning e mail will be entering its 24^th year.
