DATELINE MONDAY 22ND JULY 2019

Happy Monday, it’s a very happy Monday for me I’m finally in holiday mode. This will be my last Monday morning for a couple of weeks as I’m off to Tel Aviv on Wednesday. Yaaayyyyyyy just as the weather is going to get hot, hot, hot. Ahhhh but we all know it wont last whereas the weather in Tel Aviv will be nice and warm every day I am there, consistency that’s what I like.

I’m going to do a bit of holiday chilling and a bit of work, we have a great relationship with a company called Eshet DMC in Israel. Tel Aviv is actually being talked about now was a destination for the conference and incentive market, in fact Eshet successfully operated a UK group for one of our clients a few months ago, all reports were that they had a fantastic time in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Eshet have a site inspection in a couple of weeks’ time for another of our clients. Jerusalem is a bucket list city, regardless of what deity you adhere to, it’s a city for all mankind. Tel Aviv is a fun, 24 hour city, terrific hotels and lots of them, great venues, easy access to the ancient and now very, very trendy city of Jaffa. Eshet do an amazing 24 hour Tel Aviv experience, a day out in the city, dinner, a club then finally as the sun rises a visit to a 24 hour bakery for breakfast of fresh hot sesame bread, bagels, pastries and baklava accompanied by strong coffee before you start all over again 😊 Oh I almost forgot to tell you Tel Aviv has an amazing coast line on the Mediterranean sea, the coastline of Tel Aviv is similar to Miami, miles and miles of sandy beach, a fab promenade and lots of bars cafes and restaurants.

I have been glued to the TV recently for the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing, it’s amazing what Nasa did fifty years ago with very little.

No news is good news, the DMCs are enjoying a break from operating but they sure do have their heads down in preparing proposals and presentations for groups towards the end of the year and next year. In fact, we have just had a big group confirm for 2023, nice to have that on the books.
