DATELINE MONDAY 17TH DECEMBER 2018

Yaaaaaayyyyyyy today is the start of the last full and proper working week of 2018. Happy MONDAY morning, I hope you are will and that you had a great Christmassy weekend. Today is also a bank Holiday in SOUTH AFRICA Brad of The Inside Edge tells me it is a cunning plan of the Government to get everyone out spending like mad just before Christmas.

It's that time of year again, the end of it, it is clear that a challenging year is in its final stages. 2018 was a lot more successful than I ever thought it would be, however there is no doubt about it, Brexit is having a huge effect on the UK plc.

2018 is drawing to a close and as this is my last Monday Morning email of the year I want to take this opportunity to say a very big and heartfelt THANK YOU! For several reasons, let me list them in no particular order, for your wonderful support of the World Class "A" list DMCs that MM and Company represents, for without you MM and Company would not exist and I like existing. For all the briefs, requests and confirmed groups to those amazing DMCs, for reading my Monday Morning email, for your occasional email reaction to the trials and tribulations of what's happening at MM and Company and at home with my two teenage girls. I am grateful you are there and I'm grateful you do what you do. I look forward to working with you in 2019, the year we will leave Europe or as it might turn out the year that we stay in Europe, we live in interesting times.

Finally, may I take this opportunity to wish you, your colleagues, family and friends a wonderful Christmas (if you celebrate it). I am certain that everyone in the world celebrates New Year, so I would like to wish you all a very happy, healthy and outstanding 2019.
