DATELINE MONDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2018

Happy Monday morning I hope you are fit, fine, wonderful and well. BRRRRRRRRRRRRR is this beastling ( little beast) from the East on its way to our sun-drenched shores? How very dare it, for sure it is much, much colder than it has been, a real taste of winter. For the past ten days I have been meeting up with some awesome clients, many of the people I met up with I have known for a long time, I am reminded again and again that this Conference, Meeting , Incentive and Event business is a great industry, we work with some simply wonderful people and get to do some amazing things. Talking of getting to do some amazing things. The weekend just gone I had the great pleasure of taking a number of these aforementioned lovely people to Vienna to meet up with Martin, Evelyn and the team at e+o meeting, event & travel management GmbH, the DMC that MM and Company represents in Austria. I have been to Vienna several times I never get tired of going there, its such a gentle, elegant, refined city, a soft city, a classical city. We were there for the opening of the Christmas markets, there is nothing that beats an Austrian or German Christmas market. They say The Grinch Stole Christmas, but I totally think that Austria has Christmas really wrapped up. We try to do Christmas markets in the UK, in fact I saw the one in Manchester a couple of days ago, it's just not the same.

I have some very exciting news to share with you but not quite yet in fact, I can't wait to share it with you. All will be revealed on the first Monday morning email of January 2019 which will be sent to you on Monday 7th January. So as we come towards the end of November and beginning of December, MM and Company will be madly busy and I suggest so will our clients and agencies as your clients realise they want to do a conference or event in February or March and they have to get it under the way right now or it will be too late.
