DATELINE MONDAY 21ST MAY 2018

Happy Monday I hope you are well, Chag Sameach (this means I wish you an enjoyable festival in Hebrew) I hope, that if you are celebrating the two day Jewish festival of Shavuot that happens seven weeks after Passover and that started Saturday evening that you are having a terrific time, if you are celebrating Ramadan I hope all is going well with the daily fasting. Monday style greetings from London W10, I hope you had a great weekend. I'm sure you will have an eve better weekend next weekend, why you ask? well in case you have forgotten it is a bank holiday weekend. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Did you see it? Did you watch all of it? Did you go? Of course, I'm referring to the wedding, not just any wedding, the wedding of the year. I do like the Royal Family but I think you guys know that and even if you don't like the Royal family, it's nice to have a bit of a celebration. Harry and Meghan's wedding was an amazing advert for Great Britain, the weather was great, the pomp and circumstance was an ever world class we Brits know how to do an awesome occasion.

Talking of marriage I wonder if Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un will finally be a match made in peaceful heaven or not, only time will tell.

OMG have you seen the news footage on the TV of the volcano erupting in Hawaii it is just amazing, the forces of nature are truly awesome, if I had endless stacks of cash I would have bought a ticket and flown to Hawaii I would love to see this type of nature in action.

IMEX Frankfurt Did you go to IMEX? I did, it's such a big show, I bumped into a few of our lovely clients but missed some I know, if you did go I hope you had a successful trip.

Austria and Mauritius This week Martin Hodi of e+o meeting, event & travel management GmbH and Stephane Louise of Connections DMC are in the UK to do sales calls and meet some past, present and future clients here in the UK we are very much looking forward to seeing them both.

Germany Eva and the team at Germanyinsight DMC have told us that both the Berlin office and the Franfurt office are closed on Monday due to the Festival of Pentecost the 7th Monday after Easter. So if you need anything from Eva in Frankfurt or Maike in Berlin or indeed ANYWHERE in Germany please let me know I am sure we will be able to get you an answer

Business Development Events In the coming few weeks I'm hosting a Business Development Event with Camonsite part of Germanyinsight DMC to Hamburg and I am also hosting a trip to Budapest with Microcosmos DMC these two day events to both amazing cities and filling up so if you would like to attend please let me know as soon as possible so I can reserve a place for you.

The Meetings Show 27th-28th June 2018 IMEX is over that means it is not long now till The Meetings Show. MM and Company will be there with mod exhibition stand F302 representing all of the amazing DMCs that MM and Company represent.

Leyla and Hannah's twitter and witter bit of the Monday morning e mail

Hannah enjoyed her first cheer leading competition last Thursday, she had her cheerleading outfit on OMG, she was so excited, a little bit disappointed that they only came fourth. Ten teams competing, I don't think she quite believed it was the taking part that counted and not the winning, another mile stone in her life. I managed to drag a reluctant Leyla to watch her sister compete, she really didn't want to go but as ever when she got there, she had a great time.

On Sunday after attending synagogue for the Shavuot service we were due to enjoy a long standing invitation to lunch at a very close friends of ours. I asked the girls if they wanted to come, Hannah was immediately up for it Hannah even came to Synagogue with me, but Leyla was having none of it "Daddy I am not going" as an experienced Dad of 15 year's service I have learned what fights to fight and what not to get excited about. OK Leyla not a problem there is food in the fridge knock yourself out. We have a great lunch and Leyla had time to herself a result for everyone.
