Dateline MONDAY 19TH DECEMBER 2016
Happy Monday this is the last Monday blog of 2016.
I hope you are well and that you didn’t overindulge this weekend. After all I am sure that the weekend coming will totally and utterly be a weekend of overindulgence, that is what Christmas is for amongst other things of course.
May I on behalf of the team at MM and Company and our world class A list portfolio of outstanding DMCs, thank you very much indeed for your support, requests, confirmed groups and your friendships over the past year. It has been a great pleasure delivering outstanding events to you and your clients.
If you are travelling over the Christmas and New Year festive break, safe travels. If you celebrate Christmas, I wish you a wonderful and peaceful Christmas. If you are celebrating Chanukah, I wish you a Happy Chanukah full of light and donuts. If you celebrate neither, enjoy the bank holidays.
I wish you all a peaceful and restful few days and above all I wish you continued success in 2017, all good wishes.
Leyla and Hannah’s twitter and witter bit of the Monday morning e mail
The big day of Hannah’s Bat Mitzvah, when she celebrates her coming of age in the eyes of the Jewish faith has been and gone. I’m exhausted, not physically although there is a little bit of physical exhaustion but mentally, whilst I wouldn’t admit this to everybody, emotionally as well. It’s at an event such as this that one realises what it means to be a Dad to two bright, vivacious, articulate, intelligent daughters who I’m confident will make their own individual mark in the world, the Bat Mitzvah was outstanding.
For me the highlight was when Hannah had actually finished her speech, her d’var torah to the community and I was invited up to the bimah, the podium in the Synagogue with Ayse by the Rabbi to give Hannah the priest’s blessing. As I was reciting the blessing Hannah started crying, Ayse joined in, I managed (only just) to keep it together and complete the prayer.
That’s it, the year is done I am looking forward to chatting to you in 2017.
