DATELINE MONDAY 1ST AUGUST 2016
Monday morning, summer sunshine greetings from London W10, I hope you are well.
Happy August, white rabbits and all that. OK whatever happened to May, June and July?
Another week, another European tragedy this time in a church in a little French suburban town, a soft target that’s for sure and the savages took full advantage. One of the terrorists had tried to go to Syria, I would have thought let him go, let them all go, let them get shot by Syrian bullets instead of French Police bullets, the end result is the same, but then what do I know.
In a few days’ time the 11th August to be exact, I’m going to put away my laptop and power down in fact, I might even log out as I head off to meet with Nassos Stephenson of AME DMC our DMC in Greece, a few days in Athens and then a bit of holiday, I’m quite ready for it this year. In fact to be honest with you I have been ready for a break for a few week.

Nothing to report and I guess it will be the same for the whole month of August, sometimes nothing to report is worth reporting.
Leyla and Hannah’s twitter and witter bit of the Monday morning e mail
I’m afraid the Leyla and Hannah bit this week is going to focus very much on technology again. I do believe at last daughter number one Leyla, understands that her phone and laptop need a rest as much as the operator does, it has taken a while to sink in which does not bode well from an education stand point. I wonder if Maths, English and Spanish take as long to sink in, that she can’t have her phone and laptop after 10 o’clock at night. On Tuesday or I think Wednesday night, her iPhone was charging in the kitchen, she waited till the house was dark, crept down to the kitchen and retrieved it at about 3 o’clock in the morning. Ayse went upstairs to the girls’ bedrooms, Leyla came out of her room, yes she was awake and gave Ayse her phone, I’m sorry Mummy, I needed to do something on it. It now charges very close to me, I do not believe for one minute she would dare to come to retrieve it.
Hannah is a funny child, her iPhone fits at the top of her plaster cast a bit like an iPhone holster. Bless her she is getting really bored, last Sunday she was really bored and I said ok let’s go out, she looked at me holding her crutches in the air and said eerrr hello? It’s hard work for her to walk anywhere really so instead we bought a movie and watched it, it was a spoof spy movie, can’t remember what it was called but it was quite funny.
And that is about it if you are off on your jolly hols have a terrific time.
