DATELINE MONDAY 8TH FEBRUARY 2016

Happy Monday, I hope you are well, that you had a good weekend and that St Valentine’s Day was all you wanted it to be and more.

I hope you are ready for this week the weather is going to be cold, crisp and frosty, may even have a dusting of snow.

My week started off in an interesting styleee, Gaia from +39 Italy sadly was unwell and unable to travel to the UK, so on the basis that the show must go on I continued with the plans of meeting lovely clients on my own and did the presentation on Italy the destination and +39 Italy the DMC. I was quite amazed at actually how much I know about Italy. I worked out that I have been to Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan all the locations where +39 Italy have offices, I have also been to Sorrento, Naples and numerous ski resorts in Italy as well as Sicily. I think Sicily is overlooked and underrated, it’s a brilliant destination. Mount Etna never fails to impress as well as all the stuff you can do with a mafia theme. Palermo being in Sicily and the center of mafia country.

As I write this the BAFTA 2016 awards are underway there are some amazing movies out there wish I was able to see all of them. It seems I catch up with movies I have missed seeing in cinemas on various airplane trips.

Pope Francis is in Mexico this week I don’t think that he will be taking some chillax time in Cancun if he does Manuel Alfredo Susanne and The EPIC Group team are standing by to be of assistance J

Hummmmm just seen some of the cricket play going on in South Africa, forget the game check out the weather dry, sunny, blue skies, nice and warm

This week is half term, my girls are away so are a lot of other people, I guess it will be quiet next week (Sandra doesn’t seem to think that will be the case)

Iceland

Iceland seems to be the flavour of the month in fact, the flavour of last year and this year, we are keeping Nordic Visitor, the DMC MM and Company has been representing since 2012 extremely busy thanks to you, thank you. If you would like to meet up with Anna Valdimarsdóttir of Nordic Visitor she will be in the UK visiting clients in March, do let me know.

Leyla and Hannah’s twitter and witter bit of the Monday morning e mail

We all went to a friend’s Bar Mitzvah party on Saturday night, as the time of departure from the house approached the atmosphere in the house turned into fever pitch. Tights, make up, nail polish, hair dryer, straighteners, do my dress up at the back, handbag, shoes OMG.

I was showered, dressed and ready at the agreed time of 6.45PM we left at 7.25PM, the party started at 7.30PM we arrived at 8.10PM just as guests were being invited to take seats for dinner.

Hannah has got herself an ipod it apparently does everything except make phone calls it can facetime though.

Hannah is not too old to be taken upstairs at bedtime, she goes on her own but still likes to be tucked in as much as you can with a duvet and she still likes a song

Sunday night she went upstairs and said “Daddy come up in five minutes” well I was watching Deutschland 83 and got a bit involved with the story 20 minutes later my phone rings it is Hannah on face time, “Daddy” was all she said, it said it all, she was not going to buy my pitch of a song via face time so I pause live TV isn’t that a great thing to be able to do?

Went upstairs sung you are my sunshine my only sunshine, I sung a Hebrew prayer type song, snuggled a bit with her. Went downstairs pressed play and picked up from where I left the program
