DATELINE MONDAY 8TH AUGUST 2022

Happy Monday morning the start of a week that looks like it will be warm and dry, maybe even hot down south, I have to say down south as a number of friends read this that live in Scotland, they tell me they have had plenty of rain, even too much rain, and as for the heatwave it didn’t get as far as Scotland.

A close friend of mine is on holiday in Tel Aviv at the moment, they are staying at The Tel Aviv Kempinski their first night in Tel Aviv was spent in the hotel’s bomb shelter, well at least it is a five star bomb shelter.

The Rishi and Lizzie show continues, a bit of light political relief I guess.

The weekend was amazing weather and in the amazing heat of the summer the football season has kicked off, what! That means only one thing that the end of the summer is nigh noooooooooooooooooo!

And as August continues the news gets even thinner on the ground as the holiday season enters its second week.

Martin and Evelyn of e+o meetings and events DMC Austria have told us that the Rosewood Vienna Hotel that occupies the former headquarters of the Erste Group Bank AG in Petersplatz has officially. The 19th-century landmark comprises buildings of historic pedigree, including the apartment in which Mozart lived and wrote “The Abduction from the Seraglio." The hotel has 71 guestrooms and 28 suites that extend over four of the hotel’s seven floors. Salon Aurelie, located in the hotel’s residential-style lobby space, serves light bites and beverages. Neue Hoheit (New Highness), the brasserie-style restaurant, is located on the sixth floor and serves European dishes alongside Austrian classics. The hotel has a rooftop cocktail bar on the seventh floor, there is a spa of course and some meeting space that can accommodate a maximum of 100pax
