DATELINE MONDAY 5TH DECEMBER 2022

Welcome to the first Monday in December, I hope all is well with you, how was your weekend? chilly or what? The thermals came out of storage over the weekend, as you may know I do not do cold very well. Looks like this week will be the first real Winter experience, the temperature will be hovering around 5 degrees C all week with snow forecast in the North of England and Scotland.

As this is the first Monday in December, I can use the word Christmas and PANIC in the same sentence. OMG only 20 more days to the big day and we all know how quickly December days disappear.

Regular readers of my Monday morning e mail will know I never have to panic in the run up to Christmas if you want to know why panic is never on the Marks menu, e mail me for the reason😊

I did it, on Sunday morning it was dry, overcast and cold but did not deter me I walked from NW6 to W1 my destination was M&S Marble Arch, I located the isle in the food department displaying mince pies I bought a box of six puff pastry mince pies and a box of four frangipane topped mince pies, well it is December after all

IBTM Barcelona 29th Nov-1st Dec 2022 how was it? did you go? I heard that it was not very busy ,can you confirm that? I am guessing regardless of what actually happened the press release will say a record number of delegates attend the show.

The World Cup continues. As I write this e mail to you on Sunday afternoon France is leading Poland 3-0 and England is still in the World Cup. I took a break from writing this e mail to watch the footie England did well although it took them a while to settle into the match but when they did, they did it decisively and won 3-0 ta ta Senegal, safe flight home. England v France will be a very challenging game.

Maybe the Citizens of Russia can take a leaf out of the Iranian people’s protest manual and rise up against Prick Putin

That’s it, you are up to date from a David point of view
