Good morning, happy damp Monday I hope you are well and that you had a great if rain-soaked weekend. Well, we all knew the wonderful weather wouldn’t last as soon as the schools broke up the rain started, and it looks like it will be raining most of this week.

Watching the news on Sky BBC or ITV seems all to be sad or bad new I wonder if there is a market for a GOOD NEWS TV station if there is I would like to be its Anchor , so as I look through the news web sites its sad news of the school coach crash carrying pupils and teachers from Minehead Middle School near Wheddon Cross in Somerset on its way back from a school trip to the zoo, sadly a 10-year-old boy

The sad news continues about the ferry in Vietnam that capsized in a storm taking 38 people with it, and terrible floods in South Korea.

Bad news to see that the hopes for a settled Syria has just gone up in bombs and bullets, what is the matter with everyone in that area of the world. Seems like the are bored they have a Kalashnikov machine gun under the bed so they start a war. Here is an idea, instead of giving these people guns and stuff the World’s TV makers Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Sony etc should give everyone a TV and NETFLIX gives everyone free access to their programs problems solved.

Whoever did not know what a super injunction was now knows, I wonder what just a regular injunction looks like.

It really is time for Trump to drop a bunker busting bomb on The Kremlin and finish the dreadful destruction that the Russians are doing to Ukraine I don’t think Netflix will solve the Russian problem

Soap box time

The bitter news AGAIN today, it is 655 days since Israeli and other nations’ citizens were on 7th October 2023 wrenched violently from their homes, streets, fields, and places of leisure in Israel and taken to be held hostage as pawns of war imprisoned in squalid conditions in the Hamas terror tunnels in Gaza. A total of 50 Israelis are still being held captive by the group of evil, blood thirsty, barbaric terrorists called Hamas. Sadly out of the 50 people being kept in horrific conditions only 24 are still alive.

Here is a thought, GAZA is 25 miles long 3-7 miles wide with 2.1 MILLION people living there and not ONE PERSON in Gaza has helped to find the 59 Israeli hostages

Off the soap box now

Good news and congratulations to Oleksandr Usyk on His Victory Against Dubois at Wembley. Usyk's dedication, strength, and unshakable resolve continue to inspire not just boxing fans, but also the brave Ukrainian troops defending their homeland.

Congratulations to Scottie Scheffler, he wins fourth major title and first Claret Jug by four shots at Royal Portrush. Well he is the World’s Number One golfer

That’s it from a David point of view for this week.

MM and Company news update

Germany

Eva of Cornerstone Meetings DMC has given us some awesome news as we understand it British passport holders will soon be able to thorough immigration into Germany using the electronic gates.

Millions of UK travellers to Germany will be able to use e-gates in the future thanks to a new agreement made between Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Thursday

17th July It make total sense for Germany to agree to phased opening of e-gates over 3 million Brits visiting each year, it will ease the congestion at immigration

Germany will roll out the first phase of e-gates access for UK travellers by the end of August

Prague

Daniel of ITC DMC Prague have told us that Prague airport, Czech Republic also permit UK passport holders to use the electronic gates

Portugal

Joana, Rita, Miranda and the team at AIM DMC Portugal have told us the same thing happens at Faro Airport

New York New York so good they named it twice

Our team in New York have told us that Manhattan's first Hyatt Regency hotel, Hyatt Regency Times Square, has opened, the hotel has 795-room located at 1605 Broadway, Hyatt Regency Times Square has a two-story lobby with a signature restaurant and a glass atrium overlooking the iconic lights of Broadway. The hotel has completed a multi-million-dollar renovation, each of the hotel’s 795 guestrooms and suites has New York City views from Times Square to the Hudson River. and abundant natural light through oversized windows plus there are blackout curtains, important if you have oversized windows

And that is about it for this Monday you know as much as I know, wishing you an outstanding day and an awesome week ahead.
