It’s a White rabbits good Monday morning 1st July well that’s half of 2019 done and dusted.

Sun shiny greetings from London W10, the sun has been shining for a few days, now the rain has stopped and I’m a happy man. I wore shorts to work on Friday for the first time this year, got to love the summer, it makes me smile when the weather forecaster tells us about the heat as if it was something to be avoided, I don’t think so 😊 OMG Saturday was awesome warm then hot and sunny all day just the way I like it. Sunday was a bit of a disappointment but that’s Great Britain for you.

Sorry I missed you last week, I didn’t land back from Cancun till Tuesday morning, then I had The Meetings Show Wednesday and Thursday and I didn’t think you wanted a Monday morning email on Friday.

Cancun Mexico MM and Company have been representing the EPIC Group DMC since 1997, my latest trip to Cancun was my eleventh and the destination simply gets better and more developed in a good way. British Airways fly to Cancun five times a week with a triple seven, it’s a ten hour and change flight, very doable for a four day conference or incentive. The weather was outstanding, the variety of excellent four star, five star and deluxe all inclusive properties are excellent. Cancun is one of those destinations that you could do an activity every day and Xcaret, Tulum, Xel-Ha, Chichen Itza, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, Las Islas Mujeres or you could just chill by the pool. It’s a perfect winter sun destination for the UK. I stayed at The Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun downtown and then The Unico Hotel in Riviera Maya, both were outstanding hotel experiences both very, very different from each other catering to different market sectors.

Spain Talking about getting better and better Eulalia, Graciela Mathilde and the team at TA Spain tell me that Barcelona now has a NOBU hotel I have just been on their web site it looks awesome.

The Meetings Show The team and I at MM and Company had a brilliant Meetings Show this year, we did it differently and by all accounts the different approach was very well received by the sixty clients that joined us for a rolling lunch on the Wednesday. Please make a note I your diary we are going to do it all again next year. Our DMCs Claudia of Mi Malta, Pascal of Nacara Destination and Menno of Phenix Events joined us at the lunch event I got the feeling that they will be with us as co-host again next year.
