Happy November, where did October go?

Last weekend it was really, really cold but the weather, warmed up and actually towards the end of last week the weather was quite nice. Let's be honest it was a lovely day on Saturday for the first week of November dry, sunny and even warmish not bad at all.

Guy Fawkes night tonight, I really do like fireworks although with Hannah being away and Leyla going to a party I don't have to bother which is just as well as I am going to be in DERBY on sales calls with Erika of Mi Malta DMC.

Wednesday this week is the Hindu festival of Diwali, for those who are celebrating this festival may I take this opportunity to wish you days full of light and wonderful Diwali.

I do not know whether I have mentioned this before but I'm quite involved with the security at St John's Wood Synagogue,as a result of last week tragic shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, the synagogue in the heart of London was slightly on edge, whilst I can't ever see that type of thing happening in London, we have all learned never to say never. We said special prayers in the synagogue for the bereaved and the injured as a result of the Pittsburgh shooting. I can only hope, whilst the pain for our friends in Pittsburgh has not worn off, hopefully the shock has.

World Travel Market (WTM) 5th - 7th November Are you going this year? I won't be going as I will be with Erika of Mi Malta DMC that week running around the country meeting some of our awesome clients. Malta Erika Farrugia Harding of Mi Malta DMC is in the UK this week on sales calls, so I will be seeing lots of our clients with her and catching up on what's new in Malta.

South Africa Brad Glen Managing Director of The Inside Edge Southern Africa is also in the UK this week. I say Southern Africa but the Inside Edge have extensive experience of working in other countries in Africa: Zambia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Nigeria, Zimbabwe the list is long as is knowledge of the workings of these African countries. I will be catching with Brad and clients later this week.

IBTM Barcelona 27th - 29th November I will be attending, will you be there? If so, do let me know.
