Good morning peeps I hope you are well and that you had an amazing weekend

I know it's supposed Autumn but it still doesn't quite feel like Autumn, the weekend weather was totally amazing it was warm, warm, warm I hope it was the same for you. I have to tell you there is no such thing as Autumn in Las Vegas which is where I was last week attending the IMEX show. Very cold early in the morning, and I know that how? I arrived at Las Vegas late last Sunday night, at 5AM on Monday morning I was outside the hotel waiting for a transfer to the airport for a Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam experience by helicopter, it was 10 degree C that my friends is cold. I had a hoodie jacket on but that was soooo not enough. By 10AM there was crystal clear skies and sparkling sunshine all day for the four days I was there, sadly I didn't see much of the sunshine. The temperature at night was around 16-17 degrees C so not too shabby.

I hope your last week was as good as mine, I met up with about twelve UK clients out in Vegas for IMEX, all were hosted buyers and they were running from pillar to post trying to keep to their crazy meeting schedule.

I met up with our DMCs Manuel and Susanne of the EPIC Group Cancun, Heather of +39 Italy, Julian of Quetzal Motivo Panama, James of The J Team Japan, Bettina and Toby of Germanyinsight (Berlin office), Thora from Nordic Visitor Iceland and Clem of C Florida Hospitality. I also met up with a number of DMCs who I have known for a long time the DMCs were from China, Singapore, France, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and many other countries.

South Africa We have represented Shaun Blake, Brad Glenn and the team at The Inside Edge Southern Africa since 1999, Brad will be visiting the UK this month. We are putting together a meeting schedule for him, if you would like to know what's cool, creative, fun and funky let me know. I know Brad would be delighted to give you an update on Southern Africa including Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

Leyla and Hannah's twitter and witter bit of the Monday morning e mail

The interaction i have had with my beautiful daughters has been somewhat limited as they have been in Turkey and I have been in the USA so it's really been text messages and What;s App messages, Leyla has been very quiet and I know why that is, she managed to destroy yet another iPhone. I'm sure she has a secret job developing business for Apple so as a result of Leyla's broken iPhone she has not been in touch. Hannah on the other hand with her very working mobile phone mobile phone sent me regular updates on what she wanted from the States which included Cheez savoury snacks, Jolly Rancher sweets, Nerds and lots of other stuff that you cannot get in the UK. Thankfully there was a Walgreens (it's a super-sized Boots) that I walked past on my way to IMEX each day that sells all that kind of stuff. I also bought them a huge sharing bag of M&M's caramel which is a brand new product in the States, I was very tempted to open a bag of the M&Ms to try them but as I was saving them for the girls I resisted the temptation.

That's it the Monday up date is complete, the long Jewish holiday season is over, the girls are back to school this week and all things will be returned to as normal as possible.
